Color Theory for Children
After introducing the primary and secondary colors, my students will review what they have learned using this page. It can be painted with watercolors (and actually mix the colors to get the secondary colors) or just color it with markers.
After this, the color wheel may be introduced with even tertiary colors or just a simple one like the one here: color wheel.

Color Wheel / Ferris Wheel
I saw this project on Pinterest and I thought it was a great idea! Here is my version of the Ferris Wheel (yes, it is very basic, but students are supposed to use their creativity to make this ferris wheel fun!). You can just print it out and have your kids paint the circles or if you guide them step by step they can draw it first. It would also be a great exercise on drawing circles!!
